I graduated with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a Minor in Nuclear Engineering with experience in aircraft design, numerical methods, project management, documentation, test planning, and radiation detection.
I worked on student-led projects such as CyDrone, the development of a small UAV for use in civil applications and graduated from Iowa State University in May 2013.
I began working for B/E Aerospace (now Rockwell Collins (now Collins Aerospace)) in the summer of 2013 as a mechanical design engineer gaining experience designing composite structures, mechanical systems, and developing engineering standards. During my time with Collins, I was awarded 3 design patents regarding latching systems and waste system separation. In early 2019, I started position at Boeing with the 777X Cabin Lighting team. Starting in April 2021, I made the switch to Consumer Electronics and began working for Andrews Cooper.
Some of the things I enjoy doing outside of work include designing new concepts, music, designing and building mechanical keyboards, building computers, wine tasting, movies, technology, and figuring out how and why everything works. In general, building things in any and all ways. My biggest drive is to keep learning new things and growing as a person and designer.
